SCOUTING
Scouting at Christ Community Church started in 1988 with Pack 14. Today, we offer a program for the whole family, ages 5 through 20. This includes Family Scouting in Cub Scouts, boys in Troop 13, and girls in Franklin's first all-female Troop 15. Our Venturing Crew 113 carries on the tradition of co-ed adventures for youth 14-20.
Now we’re building a permanent space, scheduled to open Spring, 2024.

For more than 30 years, Christ Community Church (Franklin, TN) has generously chartered the BSA scouting program and allowed us to use their facilities. Over time, the relationship between the church and scout units has increasingly deepened to achieve our mission:
To prepare Middle Tennessee youth in a faith-based environment to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
Christ Community has now given us the opportunity to enhance the scouting experience by building a 2500 sq. ft. pavilion and barn on the church’s back property.
WHY BUILD A BARN & PAVILION?
The Barn and Pavilion is for ALL scouting units at Christ Community Church. Have you ever seen the scout closet on the Cub Scout wing of the church? Imagine extra barn storage for Country Breakfast materials, popcorn sales tools, Pinewood Derby & Raingutter Regatta resources... and using the closet strictly for the resources necessary to execute the weekly meetings! It will also free up the unit trailers to be used as trailers instead of as undersized warehouses.
The Pavilion will serve as a beautiful setting for Courts of Honor, Eagle Ceremonies, banquets & picnics, and outdoor scouting activities. It will also serve our Scouting Troops for their weekly meetings, adding a new dimension to the scouting experience. This will also help free up a significant amount of much-needed space inside the building during weekly meetings.
